- All Executive Committee Seats Open: 2 year terms per officer

WHO CAN RUN? To be eligible to run, your business must be a member of the O4WBA and/or representing the business member.
Board of Directors Time Commitments: 5-10 hours per month + Events
The O4WBA is a working board of directors. ‘
Obligations
- Commitment of 5-10 hours per month for meetings, advocacy, and event support
- Help in recruiting 3 prospective members each quarter
- Comfort in representing the O4WBA in professional and personal contexts
- Recommended financial contribution in the form of event sponsorship at $50-75 level (can be in-kind)
- Board Members must sit on at least one committee (public safety, membership, financial oversight, advocacy, engagement)
Required Monthly Meetings: 3 hours
- Attendance of BOD meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month from Noon-1:30pm.
- Attendance of monthly meetings on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 6-7pm.
- Board of Directors may not miss more than 3 board meetings total per year and should make best effort to attend majority of monthly membership events and happy hours
Annual Board Retreat: 8 hours
- Dedicated day within the first month of the year to work on operational plans and build committees.
Special Events:
- Required: Board members must actively participate in the planning, fundraising and/or event execution of any Old Fourth Ward Business Association fundraising events during term.
- Recommended: Board members may participate in the execution and planning of our annual membership appreciation event. We strongly encourage all board members to attend and celebrate our accomplishments together.
